Sabbath School
Each Sabbath, Seventh-day Adventists meet to fellowship and explore the Bible together. Sabbath School provides a safe environment to ask questions, share faith experiences and get to know Jesus better through a shared, interactive study of the Bible in a small-group setting. The program also often includes music, prayer and inspirational community outreach stories.
The study theme is the same all over the world in Seventh-day Adventist churches. Each quarter has a new theme and study guide. We read Bible sections and discuss questions and insights together. Each week a different person takes a turn leading the discussion, but everyone is invited to participate and contribute to the discussion, if they’re comfortable to.
There are also children’s ‘Sabbath school’ classes for various ages. In children’s Sabbath school the kids sing songs, read Bible stories, play Bible games and quizzes and do Bible crafts, depending on their ages. All our Children’s Sabbath school teachers have been police-vetted and have completed training for working with children and vulnerable people. We have policies and procedures in place to create a safe space for our children and vulnerable people. You are also welcome to stay in your child’s class with them.
